Latvia, like much of the Baltic region, is making significant strides toward a greener future. By 2050, the Baltic States aim to fully transition to clean energy, and Latvia is already taking active steps in this direction. Eco Green Energy is proud to contribute to this transformation with our recent solar installations in Latvia, which we completed with our local partner there.
Challenge
The country’s climate, marked by long, cold winters and relatively short daylight hours, poses unique obstacles to solar energy adoption. Additionally, ensuring the efficiency and durability of solar installations in such conditions requires careful planning and the use of advanced technology.
Another challenge lies in the need to maintain the balance between embracing new energy sources and preserving Latvia’s cherished natural landscapes. Any energy project must align with the country’s values of environmental respect and sustainability.
Our Solution
To meet these challenges, Eco Green Energy deployed our high-efficiency Helios Plus 450W PV modules for a series of on-grid residential and commercial installations across Latvia, with a total capacity of 40kW. These modules are specifically designed to perform well in diverse climates, including Latvia’s.
