In the scenic region of Buena Ventura, Panama, a new solar energy project has been successfully completed, marking a significant step forward in the adoption of renewable energy within residential communities. This project involved the installation of 52 Atlas TopCon N-Type Full Black solar panels, each with a capacity of 500W, contributing to a total power output of 26 kW. By integrating these high-efficiency panels, the project aims to provide sustainable energy to the local residential area, reducing reliance on conventional energy sources and significantly lowering carbon emissions.
Challenge
The project faced several challenges, most notably the variability of sunlight in Panama’s tropical climate, which can affect the efficiency of solar power generation. Additionally, the project site in Buena Ventura presented specific installation challenges due to its residential nature, requiring careful planning to ensure minimal disruption to the community. Another challenge was optimizing the system for both high-voltage and high-current requirements, as the energy needs of the residential community varied significantly.
Our Solution
To address these challenges, the project team selected the Atlas TopCon N-Type Full Black panels, known for their high efficiency and superior performance even in low-light conditions. The installation was meticulously planned to maximize exposure to sunlight while minimizing the impact on the surrounding environment and local residents. The system was designed using a combination of series and parallel connections, allowing it to meet both high-voltage and high-current demands efficiently. This strategic approach ensured that the solar system could operate at optimal efficiency year-round, despite the challenges posed by the local climate and site conditions.
