Powering Healthcare: 154KW Solar Project Energizes Hospital in Mexico

Eco Green Energy proudly provided 282 Atlas 550W photovoltaic panels to Power Electrical Sale Corporation for a major solar installation at Hospital General Regional No. 1 in Charo, Michoacán, Mexico. This project brings a total installed power of 154KW, significantly boosting energy efficiency for the hospital’s operations. The photovoltaic system was mounted on the roof of the Medical Unit, contributing to sustainable energy use and reducing the hospital’s reliance on traditional energy sources. With the efficiency of 21.28%, these modules are designed to withstand high winds up to 160 Km/h, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Challenge

One of the main challenges for this project was the location and structure of the hospital’s roof. The Medical Unit’s design required careful planning to ensure proper placement of the photovoltaic system, avoiding disruption to the hospital’s operations. Furthermore, the high winds typical of the region required the use of highly resistant panels capable of withstanding wind speeds up to 160 Km/h, ensuring the durability of the installation. Another challenge was coordinating with the client, Power Electrical Sale Corporation, to ensure the system was integrated seamlessly into the hospital’s infrastructure without affecting its functionality.

Our Solution

To address these challenges, the design team at Power Electrical Sale Corporation worked closely with Eco Green Energy to develop a custom mounting solution that adhered to the roof’s unique specifications. The installation of the Atlas 550W panels was executed with precision, ensuring maximum efficiency and optimal positioning to capture sunlight throughout the day. With strong wind resistance and compliance with international standards, the panels provide reliable energy production even in the region’s challenging weather conditions. The project was completed successfully, meeting the hospital’s energy needs and aligning with sustainable energy goals.
