In southern France, the move toward sustainable agriculture is moving forward steadily. In the heart of Occitania, three new commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects are completed. The aim: helping local agricultural businesses reduce energy costs while improving long-term energy resilience.
Developed in partnership with Energesia, the projects combine high-efficiency TOPCon 510W bifacial full-black modules with practical energy strategies tailored to real agricultural operations.
Together, the installations represent a total capacity of 910 kWp across farming and wood-processing applications.
Occitania is known not only for its strong solar irradiation, but also for its agricultural importance. As France’s leading agricultural region and one of Europe’s largest organic farming areas, the region faces increasing pressure to modernize operations while managing rising electricity costs.
To support this, three new solar installations were developed in Aureville, Damiatte, and Beaumont-de-Lomagne. The projects were designed to balance self-consumption and solar arbitrage strategies, allowing local businesses to maximize the value of solar production throughout the year.
