Bangladesh, Hilly districts

Wohngebäude

This project is a result of the government’s initiative to provide electricity facilities to the remote hilly districts in Bangladesh. The goal is to improve the quality of life, education, medical facilities, and access to technology for the residents in these areas.

Challenge

This project aims to bring electricity facilities to the remote hilly districts in Bangladesh. Due to the inability to connect the national grid to these regions in the next 20-25 years, solar photovoltaic systems are being installed to provide access to electricity for the residents. This project will greatly improve the quality of life, education, medical facilities, and access to technology for the people in these areas.

Our Solution

As the national grid cannot be connected to these regions for the next 20-25 years, solar photovoltaic systems are being installed as a solution. This project will have a significant impact, providing solar PV systems to 40,000 houses and 2,500 neighborhood centers/student hostels/orphanages and community centers, totaling to 4.8MWp of decentralized solar PV systems. The government has funded this project, providing the solar PV systems for free to the people in the region.
Project Execution Organization: Pristine Crossing Point Limited.
