The total power output consists of 60kW in inverters and 75kW in batteries. The system was specifically tailored for our excellent partner, Sadeesa. Sadeesa is a Guatemalan company anfocusing on the installation and distribution of solar energy systems.
Challenge
The main challenge was ensuring that the solar energy system could consistently support the 10 HP water pump, which is vital for irrigating extensive farmland. The area faced issues with unreliable access to grid power, subsequently making it necessary to find a dependable energy source. Additionally, the agricultural setting required a system durable enough to endure varying weather conditions, such as intense heat and heavy rain.
Our Solution
To overcome these challenges, Eco Green Energy designed a highly efficient solar energy system. The 70 Atlas modules provided enough power for the water pump’s continuous operation. Thus ensuring the farm’s energy needs were met. By including 75kW of battery storage, the system maintained reliability during cloudy periods or nighttime. This solution increased the farm’s productivity while promoting sustainability.
How?
By reducing reliance on traditional energy sources. It also delivered an eco-friendly, long-term solution for irrigation, optimizing energy use for agricultural purposes.
