Solar plant of 300 kW installed in Chile

Chile is rapidly emerging as a renewable energy leader in Latin America.

With strong policy support, the country is making a swift transition from fossil fuels to clean energy sources. As part of the global push for clean energy reform, Chile aims to harness solar power to meet at least 30% of its electricity demand by 2030. Already there will be an installed capacity of solar energy reaching 5.207 GW by the end of August. That is a significant increase from 264 GW in 2019.

Eco Green Energy, in collaboration with ECOI Energía Solar, is proud to be actively involved in this transformation. One of our recent projects in Chile is a 300kW solar plant in San Felipe, where we utilized our high-efficiency EOS Poly 330W solar panels.

Challenge

Implementing a solar project of this scale in San Felipe came with its own set of challenges. The region’s climate, with its intense sun exposure, required solar panels that could withstand high temperatures and continue to perform efficiently. Additionally, ensuring consistent energy output for a commercial-scale installation demanded solar modules that deliver high performance and are durable and reliable over time.

Our Solution

To address these challenges, Eco Green Energy supplied the project with our EOS Poly 330W solar panels. These panels are specifically designed to operate efficiently even in extreme conditions, making them an ideal choice for the San Felipe installation. Using Grade A cells, adhering to European production standards our PV modules are always the best choice for powering large-scale projects. This ensures not only high performance but also the longevity and reliability necessary for large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
