The Atacama Desert has one magical place Valle de la Luna or Moon Valley due to its numerous lunar-like landforms, making you feel like you’re on another planet!
Eco Green Energy is proud to have been contributing to the Chilian solar market. We are pleased to present this 150KW agricultural solar installation in the Coquimbo Region of Chile, between Elqui-Limarí. The project is of Net Billing modality to give energy to an agricultural one. Thanks to our EPC ECOI client from Chile for the trust placed in us.
Challenge
The primary challenge was the harsh environmental conditions of the Atacama Desert, characterized by minimal rainfall and high solar radiation. Ensuring the solar panels’ durability and efficiency in such a demanding environment required careful selection of materials and robust engineering solutions.
Our Solution
To address these challenges, Eco Green Energy employed EOS Poly 340W modules, known for their high-quality aluminum frame, IP68 junction box, and high transmissivity tempered glass. These features ensure long-term weather endurance, resistance to high loads and wind pressure, and excellent performance even in low-light conditions. The use of Grade A cells under European standards further guaranteed the installation’s reliability and efficiency.
