Photovoltaic generation for commercial building in Argentina

In 2022, Eco Green Energy completed a 21.6KW solar project for the Donna Reggia building in Caballito, Argentina.

Our distributor SISTEMAS ENERGETICOS, once again designed, provided, and installed photovoltaics supplied by Eco Green Energy. They used 48 monocrystalline modules Atlas TOPCon 450W 10BB, with 120 cells. The efficiency of these modules reaches up to 21.25% to provide inclusive output in different weather.

These bifacial PV modules, with TUV/CE/UL certifications, highlight the vision and commitment of the AZCUY construction company towards renewable energy.

Challenge

The main challenge of this project was to ensure a reliable and efficient power supply in an urban environment.

The Donna Reggia building’s location in Caballito, Argentina, meant that the solar installation had to perform optimally under diverse weather conditions: haze, cloudy days, and varying light intensities. Additionally, the installation had to meet the aesthetic and structural requirements of the new construction while providing maximum energy output and sustainability.

Our Solution

To address these challenges, Eco Green Energy utilized Atlas 450W monocrystalline modules with advanced features such as Gallium-doped technology and 10BB design. This allows for high efficiency and reduced LCOE and BOS.

The panels were specifically chosen for their superior performance in low light conditions and their resistance to PID and LID. The system design and installation was completed by SISTEMAS ENERGETICOS. They ensured seamless integration with the building’s infrastructure and maintaining the aesthetic appeal. The installation also included advanced monitoring systems for optimal performance and quick resolution of any issues.

The installation ensures consistent power output, even in varied weather conditions, and underscores the potential for sustainable energy solutions in urban settings.
