Guatemala is one more country in Latin America with great potential for PV module application. The National Energy plan of the country defines renewable energy as a priority. Moreover, Guatemala plans to reach 80% renewable energy utilization by 2030.

Our authorized distributor, ECOLOGICO SOLAR, finished an on-grid system of 12.6 kW for residential installation in Zone 15, in Guatemala City. This system consists of 28 panels EGE Helios plus 450w mono 9BB, that possible to provide the highest efficiency of 20.81%.

Eco Green Energy is glad to support the movement to such a decent goal, and leave its Solar footprint; today we present a new solar installation done at the home of Maya.

Challenge

The installation faced several challenges, including limited roof space and ensuring optimal orientation and tilt for maximum solar exposure. Additionally, the project had to comply with local regulations and building codes, which required careful planning and coordination with local authorities.

Our Solution

To address these challenges, the project team conducted a detailed site assessment to design a system layout that maximized the available space. Advanced mounting solutions were implemented to achieve the best angle and orientation for the solar panels. The team worked closely with local authorities to ensure all regulatory requirements were met, facilitating a smooth installation process.
