The current energy production in North Macedonia mainly relies on coal thermal power, followed by hydropower. The Government has adopted the new Energy Development Strategy 2020-2040, which targets a coal phase-out by 2025.
Thanks to its good climatic characteristics (high density and duration of solar radiation, temperature, humidity, etc.), North Macedonia has a lot of potential for solar energy development. The country is planning to produce 38% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.

We present you the newest EGE project in Europe. Our partner KTM Energy Solution just finished the installation of 710KW of EGE PV modules for an industrial project in Jegunovce, North Macedonia. They have been installed on an industrial rooftop.
